About The Speaker
Dr. Esther Sackett is an Assistant Professor of Management at the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. Before that she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She received her PhD from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, her MPA from the Wagner School of Public Service at NYU, and her BA in Anthropology from Ithaca College.
Professor Sackett’s research focuses on the interpersonal dynamics of teamwork and motivation in a variety of organizational contexts including healthcare organizations, startups, and multinational corporations. Prior to academia, she managed interdisciplinary projects in the healthcare industry. At Santa Clara, she teaches in the Undergraduate program and the Evening MBA program.
