She was previously part of the ownership of the sporting arena Nassau Coliseum in New York with a successful exit in 2023. Prior to founding Flucas Ventures, Ashley was an attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell, focusing on capital markets. Her experience spans real estate, venture capital and the gamut of capital markets - debt and equity, IPOs, SPACS, bond offerings, right offerings and public company reporting. Prior to Better, Nneka honed her legal skills as a senior associate at Paul Hastings, where she defended corporations, boards, and the C-suite in complex enforcement actions across multiple jurisdictions. Nneka is also a two-time tech founder, an avid angel investor with capital in 40 startups, and a trusted advisor to various accelerators and venture capital firms.
