Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in partnership with The WIE Suite, hosted “Behind the Curtain: Legacy & Leadership in the Arts” at David Geffen Hall in New York City. Lincoln Center President and CEO Dr. Mariko Silver joined a fireside conversation moderated by Chief People Officer Melique Jones, to share her insights on leading one of the world’s great cultural institutions, board service, civic engagement, and what it means to build a legacy.

Dee Poku, founder of The WIE Suite, closed the event with her own reflections on the importance of board service, and using it as a vehicle for meaningful contributions to society, and not just a career stepping stone or rite of passage.

The breakfast event was attended by thirty senior executives, founders and board directors.
