Today, words are easier than ever to produce and harder than ever to trust. AI can write polished language in seconds, but do people actually believe you? In this interactive masterclass for leaders who are accountable for their brand voice, Allison Shapira explores what makes you believe someone and how AI impacts who and what you believe. Drawing on her Believability Roundtables with senior leaders around the world, she shares three drivers of believability. She provides a process for identifying your own drivers and those of the people you seek to influence. Participants will learn how to identify their believability gap and what it costs them, align their words and actions so everything says the same thing, and use AI without losing their authentic voice.
Allison Shapira is a Harvard Lecturer, Executive Advisor, and Hall of Fame Speaker. Allison works with leaders who need to be believable in the age of AI, so they can build trust and influence with their teams, clients, and decision-makers. For over twenty years, she has advised Fortune 100 executives, prime ministers, cabinet members, and newly promoted leaders navigating high-stakes moments. She is an award-winning lecturer who has been teaching The Arts of Communication at Harvard Kennedy School for over a decade, and in 2026 she was inducted into the Speaker Hall of Fame. Her work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Harvard Business Review. A trained opera singer turned executive advisor, Allison is the Founder and CEO of Global Public Speaking, where she works with leaders at organizations from Walmart to Bank of America. For ten years, she traveled around the world with Vital Voices Global Partnership, helping women leaders find their voice. She is the author of Speak with Impact (a Washington Post bestseller), Speak with Impact Virtually, and AI for the Authentic Leader, and she is writing her next book, I Just Don’t Believe You (working title).
